The 27-year-old only Class A head coach in El Salvador, and who in May of this year became the first female head coach in the history of Blue and white. But was only given an opportunity for six months. The former head coach won a scholarship that consist of a training course for coaches at the University of Leipzig, Germany. That not only focuses on soccer, but on sports medicine, technical direction, nutrition, and the German language.Courses will begin on March 2- July 31,2020. “The scholarship shows me the ability I have and for me it is a great opportunity that I was waiting for since the day I applied. Eight of us applied and from there two were selected”, explained the coach. The other chosen was coach Henry Pérez Chafoy.
On what she hopes to obtain from this opportunity that opens in Europe after being fired, for alleged indiscipline. The coach thanked the German Embassy in El Salvador for the opportunity and also the Foundation Educating a Salvadoran (FESA) for supporting her with the expenses of the air ticket and with German classes.
