Adrianna Franch Earns First WNT Cap 

The U.S. Women’s National Team drew England 2-2 in front of 22,125 fans in Nashville this Saturday at the 2019 SheBelieves Cup. After a 33rd minute goal from Megan Rapinoe, England’s reply came within three minutes. An error by Adrianna Franch’s led to an indirect free kick and Steph Houghton swiftly tied the match before halftime. Nikita Parris’s goal in the 56th minute, gave the Lionesses the lead, but the U.S. equalized in the 67th off a corner kick thanks to Tobin Heath.

The action of the day left Japan in first place, England in second, the USWNT in third and Brazil in fourth in this edition of the SheBelieves Cup. USA’s final match of the tournament is in Tampa, Florida on March 5th against Brazil.
